New Pictures!
New pics!? -Well no, not in the sense freshly taken photos, but it’s a post with pictures not yet shown here. Sorry If I gave you hopes and ideas of some themed “Autumn 2008″ post with sparkling, colorful trees and such. Instead I’ll give you some insects, a creepy spider and a lightning bolt! Oh and another sunset.

Granted this image is not nearly as good as my other “Dragonfly in flight”-pic but as I said when I posted that one; Dragonflies are freakin’ fast when flying.

I sure am glad swedish spiders don’t grow to any notable sizes. Imagine if this one grew to the size of a human hand…

A bit less creepy than the spider I have to say, and a nice paint job too.

My first time trying to capture a lightning bolt with my camera. In retrospect I might have been better off using bulb instead of just long shutter speeds. Still…I got one!

This was without a doubt the most red sunset I’ve seen. The actual color of the sun is reflected on the water surface, thanks to the quite long shutter speed I had to use the red burned out in to yellow in the sky.
Fake? -No, the only thing I’ve done to the image is resize it, remove some noise from the high ISO used and fiddled with the contrast to make the tree line darker.
There you have it! Five photos to keep you happy until I post again!
